RULE OF RECRUITING STUDENT ADMISSION IN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY OF 2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

 

 

One. GENERAL

 

1.1.       The Institute of Technology (Further will be named IOT) will be followed by below law and regulations for recruiting undergraduate and graduate program in 2023-2024; “Law of Education”, “Law of university”, the order of A/97th “Standard score of admission” from December, 2022 to March 14, 2023 of Education minister, “General condition rules of master and doctor program” of A/370th order appendix 2 by education minister, the certificate of IOT, IOT rules, and other related documentations.

1.2.       IOT will be named “applicant” of interested recruiter, “accept letter” if certain provided materials are accepted, “official total” of applied student number, “candidate” if applicant is involved in official total and accept letter is given, “admission team” if selected ones who will be working in admission activities.

1.3.       IOT the board council will calculated official total if applicants apply from Ulaanbaatar, countryside, or from abroad.

1.4.       Rule of recruit, official certified curriculum, entrance exam (EeSH will be further) score, GPA, requirement from applicants, scholarship, grants, and other related information will be posted in (https://www.itech.edu.mn/), and (https://www.facebook.com/TDS/) it should be visible, accurate, honest, and equal.

1.4.1.   Education department will be administered admission twice (September and January) in both bachelor’s and master program. Admission advertisement poster shall be posted in institute website, pages, and other social links before at least 30 days from the beginning.

1.4.2.   Master program applicants shall be recruited by official standardized certified curriculum.

TWO.  ADMISSION COUNCIL STRUCTURE AND ACTIVITIES

2.1.       Admission council shall be selected by order of director of IOT.

2.2.       The head of IOT ought to be from executive director, secretary, educational manager and members shall be teachers.

2.3.       The admission activities have to be controlled by administration and plan must be implemented and budget must be spent.

2.4.       It will solve the problem except this rule and argument of student admission issues.

2.5.       It shall control recruit advertisement and marketing procedure.

2.6.       It shall organize admission introduction, seminar, and meeting and manage advertisement.

2.7.       It shall design of grant letter and invitation, publish them, and hand over to certain students.

 

THREE. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM ADMISSION

 

3.1.       The duties of applicants of undergraduate program

3.1.1.   High school and above educated citizen can be accepted to this program.

3.1.2.   The applicants must have entrance exam score (Appendix 2), has to be accepted certain standard score by Education ministry, including high school graduation certificate, valid entrance exam score in 2.8 years.

3.1.3.   The applicants who hold technical vocational diploma or other related graduation certificate can enroll without entrance exam score if they would jump to their certain fields.

3.1.4.   The applicants who has been worked not less than 5 years or the one who is over 30 year-old can enroll without entrance exam score.

3.1.5.   The applicants who have studied in abroad can equalized their credits and can transfer to enroll without entrance exam score.

3.2.       Applicants material list

The applicant to undergraduate has to bring below hard copies and bring to the Institute themselves. Such:

3.2.1.   High school graduates:

-        High school or other related documents and certificate.

-        Entrance exam score certificate

-        Personal note by school

-        National ID copy

-        3*4 size photo /2 copies/

3.2.2.   Technical education graduates:

-       Technical educational diploma

-       National ID copy

-       3*4 size photo /2 copies/

3.2.3.   5-year experience worked and over 30-year old graduates

-       Reference letter by work

-       National ID copy

-       Reference letter of social insurance

-       Essay /Applicants has to mention about how they are ready, skills, talents, experience, personal behavior and statement purpose story/

-       3*4 size photo /2 copies/

3.2.4.    

3.2.5.   The applicants who has studied in local or foreign high school certificates or transfer students from there to here:

-        International graded letter, equalized score confirmed by Educational Evaluation Organization

-        National ID copy

-            3*4 size photo /2 copies/

-        The document of Mongolian language and other skills if one is from abroad.

FOUR:  MASTER PROGRAM ADMISSION

4.1.       The duties of applicants to master program

4.1.1.   Holding bachelor’s degree and over

4.1.2.   Bachelor’s degree diploma GPA should be over 2.8 /if it is over, the one shall enroll program directly. If GPA is less, the one must take proficiency test. Test shall be organized by certain department/

4.1.3.   The information of previous education must be registered in online service E-Mongolia system /if it is not registered, the applicant should make a request from General Education Department to be registered/

4.1.4.   If applicants would enroll to different major from previous subject, applicants must check the credit list and study additional subject if need to be. Such additional subject hours will not be part of main subjects.

4.2.       Applicant material list

5.     The applicant to graduate has to bring below hard copies and bring to the Institute themselves. Such:

-        Bachelor’s degree diploma or other equalized education document.

-        Online reference letter

-        National ID copy

-        3*4 size photo 2 copies

FIVE. SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANTS

5.1.       Accepted students have a right to request Educational loan foundation scholarship.

5.2.       The ones who have graduated from The Food Polytechnic College or Institute of Technology can take 10% discount from first quarter of the first academic year.

5.3.       The support of finance to students of Universitiesunder 3rd appendix, 346th article of 2022 by Mongolian government and “Student development loan” which gives to the student as first time, scholarships can be done.

 

SIX. TUITION FEE

6.1         The applicants who enroll to undergraduate and graduate program must pay their tuition fee to 5175008844 account number by Khan bank, under The Institute of Technology.

 

SEVEN. RULE IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITOR

Inner quality department make assessment and report to IOT Administrative council.

7.1.       The admission council vote and approve their meeting by IOT administrative council if the rule does need to change and include articles.
