On October 1, 2026, Christina Adams, a U.S. citizen, CEO of Nomad Ventures, and a renowned author, researcher, and expert in camel studies and autism, was ceremonially conferred the title of “Honorary Doctor” by the University of Food Industry and Technology (UFIT).
The conferment of the honorary doctorate recognizes her valuable contributions to promoting knowledge and public awareness of camel husbandry and the significance and applications of camel milk through her research and publications. It also acknowledges her generous donation of professional books and publications, which has contributed to expanding the knowledge of faculty members, researchers, and students, as well as her valuable contribution to strengthening and expanding academic and research cooperation with the University of Food Industry and Technology.
Christina Adams’ research journey began with her desire to help her son with autism. This led her to explore camel milk, its characteristics, benefits, and potential applications, and subsequently to promote greater international awareness of camel milk and its value. Through her research and publications, she has contributed to disseminating information about the potential value and applications of camel milk and has explored research related to autism, diabetes, immunity, and other areas of health.
The ceremony was attended by the university leadership, faculty members, professors, and researchers, as well as Christina Adams’ friends and representatives from professional organizations, including Solid Partners LLC, the Asian Dairy Association, the International Trade Development Project (ITDM), and the Mongolian Camel Milk Cluster. The participants extended their warm congratulations to Christina Adams on this distinguished recognition.
The ceremony marked an important occasion for strengthening international cooperation in the fields of camel husbandry and camel milk production, research, and utilization in Mongolia, while further promoting collaboration between academic research and education.
